Check out Josh’s thoughts on the city of Detroit and the TEDx Conferences:
Please describe your previous experience with any TED conferences.
I am a huge TED fan and have watched literally hundreds of TED talks, which in turn have provided incredible inspiration.
Can you give us a sneak peek at your positive idea you will share at the event?
My talk will be “Five big ideas from starting five companies”. These ideas will apply not just to people in the business world but to all individuals looking to maximize their true potential
What do you love most about the city of Detroit?
Detroit is a city with a soul. We have a rich heritage of innovation and entrepreneurship, and it is such a great thrill to have the opportunity to help rebuild it.
In your opinion, what do you think is in store for the city of Detroit?
Amazing things. We’ll be telling our grandkids about the transformation that happened in these next five years.
How do you think TEDxDetroit will impact the city of Detroit and contribute to the overall goals of TED?
Detroit has been a hotbed of big ideas for 150 years. Detroit still is filled with incredible inspiration, and TED is a wonderful platform to show the world that we may be down, but we are far from out. Detroit 2.0 is alive and well.
To hear Josh share more about his positive ideas for the city of Detroit, as well as dozens of other fascinating speakers and artists, don’t miss this year’s TEDxDetroit conference at the Max M. Fisher Music Center on September 28.
